FAQ
Do I legally need a health and safety risk assessment?
Yes. Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 all employers must carry out a suitable and sufficient risk assessment of their workplace. If you employ five or more people you are also legally required to record the significant findings in writing. Even if you have fewer than five staff you still have a duty to assess and manage risk. Getting this wrong can lead to HSE enforcement action, fines or prosecution. We help businesses of all sizes get this right first time.
